Trek: Coastal Trek 10 - 11 km
Arriving in to Newcastle mid morning, GirlsTrek will be ready to meet you and begin our adventure with of the Hunter Valley. We departure from the airport at approximately 10am and transport you to the Newcastle coastline. This is where we commence our walk for today. The Bathers Way is a spectacular walkway along Newcastle's coast. Turning slightly inland we walk in to our lunch spot.
Later we continue on to Glenrock reserve, a favourite amongst locals for more coastal walking and finishing on forested trails. There is one set of stairs close to the end that require some extra puff. The view is definitely worth it!
From the end of our walk we continue by private transfer to Pokolbin and our relaxing luxury accommodation for the next two nights.
You will fall in love with Spicers Guesthouse. The facilities included magnificent gardens, an infinity pool and a tennis court! There is a wonderful lounge bar to enjoy your pre dinner drink and a viewing area for sunset over the Broke Range.
Dinner is at eRemo, the modern Italian restaurant located at Spicers Guest House.

Trek 10 km winery to winery
After our hearty breakfast, we embark on a circuit walk of the Hunter Valley region dropping in on wineries as we walk! There is a mixture of farm roads, fire trails and and established bike route. Mid morning we stop in at Tullochs winery and enjoy a sparkling morning tea. The Tullochs generously share their wonderful story down by their premium shiraz vines, the group moves to the Cellar door for a wine tasting overlooking the vineyards.
Next stop, only a 30 minute walk away is our special wine flight with matching canapes at Brokenwood Estate. Established in 1970 in recent years the winery has spent lots of hard earned dollars on their cellar door. The space is now both refined and organic with interesting timberwork. This experience is a client favourite.
Later we provide a private transfer back to Newcastle airport for an afternoon flight time.
