10 DAYS / 9 NIGHTS
EX KATHMANDU
-
Elevation: 1400m
We are recommending Singapore Airlines, we will suggest flight times for you to book to have a suitable amount of time to adjust to the time change. You will be met at the airport and taken by transfer from the airport to our hotel. If you would prefer to arrive in Kathmandu a day earlier we can arrange accommodation for you at the Sevenwomen guesthouse.
Stephanie Woollard began Seven Women at age 22 after meeting seven disabled women working and living in a tin shed in Kathmandu. These seven women were struggling to make a living in the face of harsh discrimination. With her last $200, Steph paid for trainers to teach the women how to produce products for sale locally and abroad – and Seven Women was born. The organisation has grown substantially and employs and empowers socially marginalized women, as well as helping educate local people to build sustainable social enterprises and conduct socially responsible tours in Nepal.
